Dance is performing art from consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement. This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture. Dance movement therapy is the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional, social, cognitive, and physical integration of the individual, for the purpose of improving health and well-being. We are conducting two days workshop on Dance Movement Thearpy on December.

Katia is dance movement therapist, special needs teacher trainer, group facilitator and dance instructor with extensive work experience in multi-cultural environments and community settings in the field of specialised education, transcultural psychiatry, trauma, resilience-building and dance movement therapy.
